She was awarded "Circle of Distinction" in 1999 as one of the top 100 employees of the company. Her love for decorating began when she was in grade school and painted all of her furniture bright yellow and made drapes with colored sheets. Through the years of extensive travel, she has had exposure to many types of cultures, architecture, and design. Teresa has always had a flair for making spaces feel comfortable and inviting. As a lover of antiques, she also has become and expert at restoring wooden pieces to heirloom quality accessories for your home. Being in the travel industry afforded her the ability to fly to various cities to decorate homes for weddings, holidays and other special occasions. She has lived in many cities to include Dallas, New York City, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Shreveport, and Chicago, where she received training in redesign concepts. Teresa has also staged many homes to appeal to prospective buyers. These homes range from modest homes to million dollar properties. She redesigns the rooms to make the best use of the space while clearing clutter and giving new life to existing furniture, artwork and accessories. As an avid boater, Teresa keeps busy in the summer months staging houseboats for sale, redesigning interiors and restoring vintage houseboats to their original beauty. Teresa has also been featured in City Lifestyle in Nashville's City Paper and received top billing as a contributor to the Annual Summer Toucan Party's Auction benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that was featured in the Nashville Scene. Teresa will be a featured speaker at the National Houseboat Expo in Louisville, KY in March, 2003 where she will address Vintage Houseboaters!
